Can someone explain what I'm doing wrong with setting the HOUDINI_DSO_PATH variable on Windows (WIN2k & XP-Pro)?

It works well on IRIX and Linux but on Windows, I can never get Houdini to find custom DLL's in locations other than $HFS/houdini/dso/ & $HOME/houdini/dso/

On UNIX I set it to some like (hconfig says):


HOUDINI_DSO_PATH := ‘/usr/hfs/houdini/dsousr/people/mstory/houdini/dsousr/people/mstory/projects/houdini/dso:./houdini/dso’


Works great.

And on Windows I set something like:


HOUDINI_DSO_PATH := ‘C:\PROGRA~\SIDEEF~1\HOUDIN~1.383/houdini/dso;C:\DOCUME~1\mstory\MYDOCU~1\houdini\dso;C:\DOCUME~1\mstory\MYDOCU~1/proj\test\houdini\dso’


Doesn't work at all … that is, it will find the DLL's in $HFS/houdini/dso/, but nowhere else …

Clues? Hints?
