ssh shader

hi all.

i am using the new Linux with Houdini and want to create an ssh shader.

how is this possible?
to a man with only a hammer every problem looks like a nail.

don't you mean sss shader (subsurface specular). i know modo has a button that renders that, but can't find similar button in Houdini. Maybe someone can add the button??

oh, wait. i have the old linux. maybe the new linux supports sss button.

you are correct capn_bootleg

modo has sss button, but houdini has advanced shelf tool effects. they must just add an avalanche, storm and big wave tool so you can make movies

now i can't get the new ODIE solvent to work, for dynamicals… help?

i think i read somewhere that you only do advance particle destructions with odiee solver. maybe you are trying wrong thing to solve?

it will be cool to have big wave tool and sss button. it will make movies look much better.
