I can't see a SOP to offset curves and surfaces - how would I do that?

I attached a file that contains an HDA of mine I call “offset face” which is just a nice wrapper around the Extrude SOP (which doesn't sound like it can offset faces/curves but it can so I build the digital asset.).

To offset a surface, it's easiest to use the Peak SOP also in the attached example file.

thanks - I had not realised that I could use the the extrude and peak nodes in this way
