Is there a way to save the Houdini window layout within hip files?

That usually happens automatically for me. All my save files open with whatever desktop layout was last used.

If I'm working on just one machine, that's the case for me, too.

Sometimes the project file might have things going on that depend on certain panes/networks being displayed (e.g. CHOPS like the MIDI out CHOP don't cook unless there is a Motion View pane pointed towards them). If I wanted to distribute this hip file, it won't work out of the box - the receiver would need to manually set up the correct panes.
