Hi,
I'm running ApprenticeHD at home on my MacBookPro. When I upgraded to OSX Lion Houdini stopped working so I uninstalled and downloaded the latest build. Now the help is not working at all. When Safari launches I get an error saying:

Safari can't connect to the server. Safari can't open the page "http://localhost:0 [localhost]“ because Safari can't connect the the server ”localhost".

Any way to fix this?

Thanks,
Matt

Never got an answer. I ended up manually entering the URL to the docs on the sidefx site in the prefs. Not a great solution since context sensitive help does not work… Only global. Just glad that our full version at the office works correctly.

Sidefx????

Yeah no context sensitive help is a big bummer. Like you I'm lucky it works in the office, but I want/need to be able to do some further investigation at home.

Search the forums, I think it was something like upgrading to the latest XCode.

I heard from SESI it seems you need Xcode installed AND the command line utilities installed which can be done from within Xcode's preferences. I am running H12 and Lion.
