H12 fluid emitter query

So I used to control the velocity and direction etc of my fluid emitters in Houdini 11 by using the velocity tab in the particlefluidemitter node.
As this node isn't part of the new fluid emitter setup in H12, I'm stuck on how to control the direction and velocity.

Any clues?

Huge thanks in advance.

you could append a popsolver to the particle velocity input of the flipsolver and control the behaviour of the fluid with any force / velocity node that you can find in POPs!

cheers,

The velocity control is still there, just in a different place. Have a look at the SOP that you are using for your particle source. You'll find the shelf tool has created a node called create_surface_volume. This has several tabs, one is Velocity Volumes. This tab includes a tickbox for Add Velocity - you can then add a fixed velocity here. I attach an example.
