helix on deformed curve

Hi,

i created a simple helix (cos on X and sin on Z) like the curve 1 on the picture.
i made the deformed one (3 on the picture) with a wire deformer.

I woul like to know if there is a way to do an helix around a deformed curve directly in vop (without using a wire deformer)

if you are careful with the orientation of the curve then it's quite straightforward

Have a look at the Switch
0 = Equal Twist
1 = Twist per edge

If you want a generic deformer to deform any geometry along any curve, you can also use this:
