Hi,
I'm having a problem with conversion part of geometry into level set/fog volume. No matter what I do ‘VDB from polygons’ ignores active voxels coming from the reference input. My object is very big and I'd like to compute sdf for specific places.
Right now I am using VDB Activate to override spots after conversion, but this method doesn't seems to be very efficient, I need to convert whole geometry into a level set.
Is there a way to do it using VDB from polygons SOP?( I know I can do it in VOPs but maybe I missed something about VDBs)

Yeah, masking in VDBs are something I hope they improve on. Offhand, I'm not sure if there's a way. I think you might have some better luck asking on the openvdb forum.
