Fur dynamics stretches when colliding against collision obj

I have created the sphere and elongated the hair. Added dynamics to it. Then I have created cylinder (tube) below and made the tube Static Object from the “Rigid Bodies” tab shelf. Then I have animated to sphere to move across, above the tube. It should pull the hair over the tube but instead, it is stretching and some gets caught into the tube instead of sliding over. I am showing images of a start capture and then another capture later in the animation below. I have tried many of the settings but did not seem to make much difference when collided with the tube. I have also attached the scene file.

how resistance is the hair for streatching?

in the parms in the dops in the wire object, you might want to play with that.
