I have three (3) static objects that I'm colliding with flip fluids
I'd like to use the ‘Stick on Collision’ options on the flipsolver but I'd like to exclude one of the objects from the ‘stick’ - it doesn't seem possible…
any ideas would be welcome
thanks

Yes! You can have a density representation of every collision object, and use that as a control field for the gas stick on collision microsolver.

yeah…
is there a reasonable place in the documentation that describes this workflow? seems like this should be explained in more detail than the current “use a microsolver to do X”

I'm also very curious about this question, I'm trying to figure it out in a similar scene.

Michael, here's a very basic example, with some variation built in for the sticky objects. There are other ways to approach building the stickiness mask, but this seems to be the most straightforward.
Let me know if it makes sense! I don't recall finding a clear description of this workflow in the docs, but it's been a while…
