how to give particles random size in houdini 13

im trying to give my particle simulation random size but because Houdini 13 changed the basic structure of POPS and its now in DOPS im having trouble figuring out how to do that. The old way would be using a copy sop but i cant bring that node into DOPS. Really lost here

What's your meant exactly ? copy some object with random scale on the particles with Copy SOP ?
So it's not different with old POP , Just use Point SOP to add random pscale attribute before Copy SOP .

Also you can use POP Wrangle node inside DOP to add random pscale :?

im starting to see what you mean but here's my file so you can see what im working with. I noticed I used the instancing tool and you didnt. Maybe were just going at this a different way?

That's not different , You can use my solution in my last example for changing random size of each instance.

Thank you so much. I see it now … I probably could have figured that out for myself but im still learning Houdini. So much to learn! Like the expression that you used in the wrangle node, i wouldnt even know how to put that together.
