What is a wise decision, installing Houdini on the SSD Drive or just use the ssd for writing/reading data ?

Maybe it's not necessary for installing Houdini on SSD drive , But it's so perfect if you use SSD for Houdini Caches or reading and writing simulation files.
Because usually file's size of the simulations (specially for Flip and Pyro) are so huge , So reading them from normal drive is so slow , specially if you compressed your files.

Also I suggest you to move your Houdini Temp Directory to the SSD .

in my experiences SSD drives with ex4 format on Linux is so faster than SSD with NTFS on the Windows.

So it's good idea if you use Linux instead of windows
