Hello everyone,
I am pretty much ready to buy the commercial version of Houdini but have a couple of questions
Does the commercial version allow us to create commercial videos(one which I may sell on vimeo once I am done with production)
I happen to have a laptop and a desktop and want to install it on both.Is that possible-or I need seperate licenses?

Any help will be appreciated.

Yep Commercial license is exactly for making commercial productions.

For the Indie and the Fx license you will need to buy two licenses, one for the workstation and one for the laptop.

Also if you are new in Houdini and you wanna learn it first , So you can buy Houdini Indie version , it's so cheaper than FX licenses .

you have access to all of the features and tools of the commercial version for limited commercial projects , Just you can use Mantra for rendering (not third party rendering engines such as Arnold).
