Hi Guys,

I can't seem to get anything working with Hqueue.

I've seen this:

https://www.sidefx.com/index.php?option=com_forum&Itemid=172&page=viewtopic&t=42161 [sidefx.com]

But I'm not sure if my issue has anything to do with this or just me not knowing what I'm doing!

I get the following message when attempting to ‘Submit Job’:

Could not connect to ‘localhost:5000’

See attached. I don't even know if this is the right button to press since the Help Docs say to ‘Press render’

Any help would be greatly appreciated since I have a scene that I'm really happy with but my machine would take too long to render an animation.

Thanks again for your help so far

Richard

Hi guys,

Further to my last post, I realised I was being stupid. I'm able to submit a job now and it reaches the point where it uploads the files etc. As soon as it reaches the job list, I get the following error:

export HOUDINI_PYTHON_VERSION=2.7 && export HFS=/opt/hfs15.0 && cd $HFS && source houdini_setup && hython $HFS/houdini/scripts/hqueue/hq_cloud_render_choose_hfs.py

/bin/sh: line 0: cd: /opt/hfs15.0: No such file or directory

Any ideas? Might it be something to do with the apprentice license?

I just can't see where to adjust the parameters controlling this input.
