Mute animation channels

Hey Everyone,

Just a quick and simple question. How do you “mute” channels in houdini. I know I can disable them using dope sheet, but it does not hold the frame. For anyone else who uses maya, I'm sure you know what I'm talking about.

not sure I understand what you mean be “it does not hold the frame”.
if you advance the frameslider to a specific frame and disable channels in the dopesheet, the current values of those channels should be held.
Is this not what you are experiencing?

Sorry for reviving the old thread but this might help someone in the future.

Besides using Dopesheet, it can be done through a channel list(s).

To Mute/unmute individual channels from the parameter editor by RMB clicking the parameter name, and choosing ChannelsMute Channel or Unmute Channel.

Or CTRL+Mto Mute or CTRL+SHIFT+Mto Unmute.

I don't think you're running H20, this was a newly added feature.
