Any tutorial on creating Wood Fracture?

I've tried the method of scaling down the box then voronoi-fracture it and re-scale it back up in Y-Axis. However it still look like toothpick and nothing like the video below:

Any guides on creating this kind fracture that consist of irregularity splinter & pieces?

Hi,

check the file and see if this is what you are after. All I did is scale the pieces down and reduce the count of voronoi pieces. Hope this is what you are looking for.

Yes its somewhat similar to what I'm looking for. But how do I get the irregularity from the first video?

that first video gets all the detail through actual geometry. if you check the description, you end up with that video https://vimeo.com/69607254 [vimeo.com] as a base for the one you posted. read the comments but to summarize it's done with vdb and about 2 million polygons. that works if you need like one hero wood fracture that covers large screen space but is totally overkill for any other scenario
