Hello guys,

I have spheres copied to the points of a cylinder and i want the spheres to be colored based on a simple texture (eg.: the Pepsi logo and text). Rotating the texture on the cylinder will animate the color of the spheres.

I now there is a Houdini tutorial with post-its colored by a star geometry but the color is not based on a texture.

What is the approach to do that?

Thank you very much.

The cylinder points need to have colour (@Cd), if you then tell the copy sop to transfer attributes to your spheres, then the spheres will have that colour too.

Lazy way to do this is with the ‘attribute from map’ sop.
