Ok so I suspect this will be something easy but my limited knowledge is not helping me figure this out. so below is a picture of a structure which has been built by myself and been trying to figure out a solution to a problem. So what i wish to figure out is how to make this structure larger without making the faces also increase in size. they are extruded so far with only an inset that is very low and no sides output. the reason that i want to do this is so that i can use multiple bounding boxes to be able to jumble this like a rubix cube and than bring them back together. i have tested a single side and this dose work if you relocate it rotate it at the outer point and than bring it back in place. this should make it so that anything i add to each of these faces will than be encapsulated and rotated with it.

this is my 4th iteration of building said structure and am not discouraged. Most of what im trying to accomplish actually dose work seperatly but now the long and complicated process of bringing it all together. If anyone is curious im making a world builder with a mix of procedural and polished design. using this structure should make me able to have crafted zones with the randomness of use of the rubix cube style jumbling and the slow expansion of the structure itself. this is my last conundrum. if there is an easy way to grab all the individual faces and relocate them exactly a distance in the direction away from the center outwards do my rotational changes than be able to bring it back towards the center back to its original orbit would be key for this to work proper considering it may be in a different location when pulled back into one cohesive structure. thx ahead of time everyone.

without seeing you file it's hard to be sure…but if you make each face a group and then use explodedview you might be able to do what you're describing.
