Hi,
I got Houdini Indie some weeks ago and it looks like it is still rendering images with that watermark on the bottom right corner as the renders from Houdini Apprentice. I can render 1920 x 1080 HD though.
Does anyone know how to get rid of that watermark or is that something that needs attention from SideFX?

A few things.
Even if you have Indie license, you still have to launch that version of Houdini. It is easy to simply launch the wrong version of Houdini and end up with the watermark in your render.
Also, you can only render watermark free with a .hip or .hiplc file. If you open up a .hipnc file, your license will be downgraded to non-commercial (you get a warning on Windows) and when you render you get a watermark.
Third party HDAs that were authored with Apprentice will still downgrade hip file to .hipnc status even if they were added in the Indie or Full licensed addition.
The simple test is to open a clean Indie session and drop down some objects, lights and a camera. Issue a test render and it should be watermark free up to the 1920x1080.
Another possibility that might downgrade your license is if you fetch an image from COPs that exceeds the Indie image maximum size then you can be downgraded as well and end up with a watermark render.
If none of those seem to be your case certainly contact support@sidefx.com. They can help you out.
