That there will be a 16.5 that is clear but what we can expect. I have not a clue whats realy coming….

I was also surprised that i had gotten an answer on older RFEs last week saying some of them will be implemented in the next major release. Maybe something is coming!

Yeah, Houdini on Linux is amazing. Windows also good. Can't comment on Mac.

Same here, I got a reply with an RFE that was fixed for the next major release. Very exciting!

I don't mean to stifle any excitement for the next release, but I often tag bugs & RFEs as “fixed in the next release” if the fix isn't backportable to the currently released version.

Better hotkey manager! Awesome. Really like that SideFX puts a lot of thought into the UI.
