Is the Paint feature broken?

We had a level generator up and running in Unity that allowed us to paint a path onto a grid. I have now had to update to Houdini 16.5, and it isn't working anymore. I have simplified the tool down to 7 nodes, and it just won't work.

Nodes:
Grid (Generate a regular grid with 20x20 divisions to paint on)
Color (Set Point Color of the grid to black)
Edit (Left at default, but exposed as editable node in the Digital Asset so that it can be painted in Unity)
Add (Delete Geometry but keep the points)
Delete (@Cd.r < 0.6 this deletes all the black points. You're supposed to paint white in Unity)
Copy to Points (Copies a standard small grid onto all the points that weren't deleted)

No matter what I try, I just can't get this to work in Unity anymore. I can paint the grid, and the white strokes appear, but no geometry appears. Occasionally some geometry appears in strange places though.

Houdini 16.5.323, tried with Unity 6.5.1 and Unity 2017.2.1

Yes, there seems to be a bug with the mapping of the painted values when transferring back into Houdini. Will update this thread once it has been fixed.

You're welcome. It has been fixed, and should be available in tomorrow's build.
