Not sure if anyone else tried but houdini works great on suse 10.1! Very solid and responsive.

suse 10.1 x86-64
houdini 6.0.608 Debian 64bit
quadro fx 1100

ps. Now that gnome is integrated better it is very nice to have the maximize button back

You mean compared to suse 10?
I had it installed on suse 10 and worked great.
After installing suse 10.1 I quit using suse for a while
I couldn't get my hardware to work properly under 10.1 and have no infinite time to check why my CD is not working and to “just add a simple file” here and there. Everything is easy “just 15 lines of code”
I'm sort of back to windows, to much pressure from other software.

Sorry for going a bit ot.

The only problem I am having is that the sesinetd doesnt start when I reboot.

I used
ln -s /etc/init.d/sesinetd /etc/init.d/rc5.d/S89sesinetd

However, It doesnt seem to help.

Check Yast - runlevel services. Hopefully it's listed there, and engage it to always start.

Cheers,

Turns out it was in runlevel services but it wasnt checked for which runlevel to run at. So I just check marked run 5 and it worked.

Thanks…
