Is it possible to set a background color for rendering in Houdini and how ?

You can set it in mplay by going to display options/background. This won't actual chnage it in the render but you can then view your renders with the correct background. AFAIK you can't set it in a render, you would typically comp it afterwards.
But maybe there is a setting somewhere I don't know about, it wouldn't surprise me….

thanks for the replies. Like you said , you can set it in mplay but not in the real Mantra Renderer. Maybe in future releases it will be possible ?…
I think it's very handy if you need to make render tests with diferent backgrounds, without having to work with shaded “background spheres” and so on…
