Hi I just trying to render some atmosferic fog in redShifft. A basic box converted to a VDB.
But after exporting and importing this VDB from houdini I get this error when I try to render.
“unsupported VDB file format (expected version 223 or earlier, got version 224)”

I don't see an option to chose version when creating my VDB.
How can I fix this?

This is an ignorable error, the VDB will render fine in Redshift. I can't seem to find a way to suppress on the user-side in Houdini, which is a bit annoying, since it will pop-up any time you access the VDB (rendering, or interactive view).

I got this error in 18.5 and it will not render in RS.

I ran into this problem again in 18.5.633, and while the VDB does render in Redshift, I am seeing the "unsupported VDB" warning.

To remove the warning, I converted to a Volume and then back to VDB.

Nice tip, works for me too.
