How could I relax existing UV by polygon angle, in Houdini?

Hi!

Please take a look at attached image (and object).
I would like to relax existing UV by “polygon angle”, same as 3ds max UV_Unwrap modifier.
Is it possible in Houdini?

just use UV Flatten, check Preserve Seams and choose between Spectral or Angle-Based flattening method

(in your file however uvs seem to have more seams after Flattening, and I see similar inner seams in your From 3ds MAX screenshot, not sure where that information lives as .obj before flatten doesn't have them, but I included a little submet that cleans them up so that flatten uses only seams you are expecting)
