I have been using Deadline to submit Houdini jobs to our farm. However if i check the ‘submit Houdini scene’ box, so that i can keep working on and saving the file, i find that the jobs run successfully according to deadline but there is no save file.
When i click on the job and ‘explore output’ the path is correct but there are no files. And when i try to ‘view output’ it says (no file exists).
Anyone have any experience with this? or any knowledge as to why it will not save the files?
What type of jobs are you sending to deadline? If you're using $HIP in any of your outputs, it will mess up your job because your $HIP variable will get changed to the temp directory that deadline puts your hip file.
