Hello!

Can you give me an advice how to simulate hair? I set up hair, clump etc. But when I'm trying to simulate it, it falls down like a pasta.

What do I need to preserve shape? Some kind of toughness? If you know some kind of articles, tutorials or anything about this topic I would be pretty appreciated

On screens groom sample and sim result.

Thank you!

Set lots of stiffness on the hair constraint, I found 1,000,000 started to work well.

Quick example: http://www.tokeru.com/cgwiki/index.php?title=HoudiniDops#Vellum_hair_headbang [www.tokeru.com]

Bend stiffness should be increased. Also increase the substeps and constraint iterations to get stiffer hair. Also, you may want to play with the point count of your wires, since that has a dramatic effect on the sim. The less points, the stiffer.
