Arnold renderer and /mat shaders

Hi there is a statement in the documentation

“You can now create shaders the new Houdini way in /mat in the arnold_materialbuilder vop network as well as the old way in /shop in the arnold_vopnet vop network. Use the material flag to enable picking of the vopnet as a material at the object level.”

But I cant get it to work. The thing is that I would like to use some houdini nodes in shader creating which are not available in arnold_vopnet1 (like “Render State” or “UV Transform”). However a simple example not working for me. Please see attachement

What I'm trying to do is randomise UVs on packed geo per copy.. but rendering in Arnold..
