Hey Guys!

I'm fairly new to Houdini so i apologize in advance if I'm missing something obvious here.
Anyway I'm trying to render water droplets over a glass surface but i keep getting these black refraction's inside the water droplets. I'm using a principal glass material with fake caustics enabled.

Thanks guys, any help would be much appreciated

You got your surface priority settings backwards… with nested dielectrics, a lower number indicates a higher priority. If you set your droplets priority to 0 and your bottle priority to 1, the droplets will boolean out the bottle at rendertime and get clean refractions.

yeah that seems to have done the trick. i assumed the bottle would take priority to eliminate any refraction's inside but i see what you mean. Thanks for the help, appreciate it.
