Suberashi is a boutique VFX studio based in Sydney. We specialize in animation and VFX for film and television projects.

We are currently looking for very talented senior lighting, shading, and look dev artists to join our team for an upcoming film project.

Responsibilities

Work with the modeling department to light and shade realistic organic environments
Utilize concept art, artistic ability, and feedback from the client to shade characters
Establish the look of sequences of shots and create lighting rigs that Artists can implement across similar shots.

Required Skills

Proven experience in lighting and shading for a feature film or similar production
4+ years of experience
Experience using redshift
Experience in Houdini is preferred, but not essential.

The project is beginning in January and running until April.

While we would prefer candidates to work in-house in Sydney we are open to working with exceptional remote artists.
