This is a request to SESI.

So after quite a few years I've been always exporting a HOUDINI_MMB_PAN variable and setting it to 0.
I need this because I pan a lot and the middle mouse button in most mice requires quite a lot of pressure and ends up giving me RSI all while zooming the views.

Knowing that this setting has been hidden in an environment variable makes me worry it will disappear altogether. Would it be possible to add this option to the preferences menu to make part of the user's customization and make an old time user happy?
