Hi,
I created a Pyro sim and then I have imported a .obj model into Apprentice 18.0…I tried to turn it into a static object to react with a Pyro sim. No collision is happening. Is there a limitation on the Apprentice version or am I overlooking something? I have only tried applying a static object shelf tool to the object but the fire won't collide with it.

Thanks!

Apprentice has the same functionality as FX, except for render/export features, so probably.

I can't say why the collision isn't working, but there could be many reasons. Is the volume conversion high enough resolution? Is the object a closed mesh? Is it too thin?

I can only guess without seeing a scene file

Thank you! The mesh is NOT closed. Oops! I will fix that. Thanks, again.

Cheers!
