Hi, looks like there is no volume displacement possible even with Karma CPU or I'm doing something wrong? Any plans to support it within 19.5 updates or no hopes till 20? or even after that 😮 or no plans for displacement at all😣, any info would be very good.

I would also like to see this. I know it can be extremely slow, but baking at screen space resolution isn't always feasible and XPU doesn't support frustum volumes (does CPU?)

Dont know about "frustum volumes" and karma cpu.
I just hate fact that after years of karma cpu development I need to use another renderer to get volume displacement at rendertime. maybe there is some workaround I dont know.

This feature is not mentioned in FAQ of comparing mantra and karma. So I want to know too if it is in planning?

It's been a while. Any word on when this will come back? It's pretty brutal that you have to use something like Arnold to get volume displacement.

Still nothing? Im trying to render clouds, but in Karma you just cant do nice detailed noise displacement. Shame
What you can do is only to multiply density by fractal noise or other noises. But it doesnt work for creating nice detail features on cloud edges.
