Hi, im currently apprentice user and im curious whether in full version dynamics simulations or simulations in general can be multithreaded? And if not, is there any technical issue why simulations cant utilize multicore feature? Im asking bcs so far i havent seen multithreaded 3d dynamics or particles and caching times are sometimes killing :cry:

Some of the fluid/gas solvers in Houdini 9 are multithreaded. (POPs is not however.)

How about DOPs? Im most curious about these.

at this time, RBD is not multithreaded.
