There are several questions.
Is it possible to customize the operation of the Background Plate for Karma XPU in animation?
If not, can it be done in another way in animation?
How to use the Karma Background Plate material found in the materials gallery?
I'm a beginner, and I can't think of it myself, and even a short explanation probably won't help.
Can anyone explain all this in detail and throw off another simple scene where everything is connected and Karma Background Plate material is used?
I attach a test file, configured for Karma CPU, without Karma Background Plate material.

Hi. XPU currently doesn't support background holdouts nor the built-in background plate material (which is VEX based).

The XPU render engine will display an error message
Invalid material binding: /BG/mesh_0 -> /materials/background
I know XPU not support Principled Shader
Can developers modify the default background material in the background plate?
For example, the Principled Shader material can be changed to materialX to make it better support XPU?
