LOPs instancing many packed primitives / viewport slowdown

Hey all,

I am currently writing out a usd file of a bunch of leaves for a tree as packed prims. I have
tried both using point instances and not using them to make the usd file, but the issue is
when I use the instancer lop to make a bunch of copies of the tree and leaves, Houdini wants
to draw a bounding box for every one of the leaves per my viewport optimization settings, and
I can literally watch as it draws them on box by box; it takes forever so navigating the viewport
is a no go. Everything renders fine, but just so I can block out basic cameras is there some way
to continue using packed prims for memory efficiency but draw all the leaves as one box per tree
instance?

Looking around some more, the configure primitive lop does what I need. Of course I find
the answer right after posting.
