First of all, I'm mighty impressed by Karma in the last couple of releases. Karma really has stepped up from its predecessor in some crucial aspects and I'm considering moving some jobs over to Houdini and Karma - finally.
There's one thing however that makes a 3rd party render engine almost a necessity for us with certain jobs at our studio size, and that's a secondary rays cache. Lightcache for Vray, HDCache for Corona, Redshift has a similar thing, you know what I mean. The main reason being complex interiors. I do understand that this isn't the focus of Karma, and renderers like Arnold, Renderman, etc don't do it either if I'm not mistaken, but it would be something incredibly useful for us even if it didn't speed up volumes for example.
So, long story short: Is this something that is completely off the table for Karma or is there a chance we'll see something like that in future releases?
Edit: I just realized I somehow was in the wrong forum for this post. D'oh. Sorry!
Edit again: Thanks for moving

I've moved your post into the right forum for ya. No probs!
Just a reminder, you might want to log cool RFE's like this so that they're tracked and assigned to someone at SideFX instead of just languishing in a forum thread. Take care!
