In the viewport -> press D to open display option and in the 'background' tab , I add background image and turn ON 'display background image'. Now the image is visible in my viewport but when I rotate/pan/zoom camera, the Image is stay still. I turn OFF 'auto place image' as in this tutorial (@6:20 ) : https://youtu.be/GtfsZZRRO1I?t=379 [youtu.be]
In that video, the image will act like a geometry, but in my Houdini (h19), the Image still 'pinned' to the viewport.
It’s better to use the “reference image” node in obj, it seems to me. I got tired of using the background on the D key at one time, and I don’t touch it anymore.
