Presence of geo nodes slows down popnet caching

I'm working with a HIP file that has become relatively complex with lots of geo nodes and subnetworks. In this file, I am trying to create a simple sim using a popnet, but I'm finding that caching is very slow due to the presence of certain geo nodes containing Alembic caches. The geo nodes are not involved in the simulation in any way so I'd like to stop them from calculating temporarily. I've tried turning off visibility on them (unticking the blue display button in obj context) however this makes no difference to the popnet cache speed. Deleting those nodes however, does speed up the cache speed.

I'm wondering if there's a way to stop a selected geo node from calculating without having to straight-up delete it, or rewire its internals?

This isn't about visiblity. You probably do an object merge or reference the alembics somewhere else that involves the sim node tree. If you still cant find the issue then sharing a hipfile will help to debug

Thanks @AhmedHindy. Your intuition is correct. We discovered the issue was due to a LOP Import Camera node elsewhere in the scene. The LOP network containing the camera also referenced the alembic file.

I did not realize that the entire LOP net would calculate every frame if only the camera was being imported.
