Curves with multi prims: How to combine to single prim?

Hi!

I separated a curve into 4 individual curves (with the polycut sop and an explodedview). The problem is one of the curves is made of 2 primitives. How can I combine it to a single prim? I tried the Join sop with Only Connected option but I end up with 2 curves perfectly on top of each other...

Maybe provide a hip...something is 'odd' about that.

I routinely use the Join SOP and haven't as of yet run into the issue you have.

It always 'works' for my situations.

Try using the Fuse SOP instead of Join It will merge the two curves into one by combining points that are close together. Adjust the "Fuse Distance" to control how close the points should be for merging.
