Looking at "kinefx rigging with apex" tutorial (02 - Full_rigging_workflow.hip) I am wondering what the promotion part does (those three attribute adjust dictionary nodes). The video actually makes it pretty clear, but funny enough, it doesn't make any difference if those promotion nodes are there or not. Unpacking the Base.rig after the configurecontrols1 node and activating/deactivating those three promotion nodes shows the same thing in the apex network view. Also the rig seems to work with those nodes deactivated. What am I missing?
