19th Moon - Surrender

I made this music video for LA musical artist 19th Moon under my directing alias of WeekendClass. Moon is signed to my label (human label). I had collaborated on her record production and really wanted to bring my Houdini skills together and make something that matched the bass line. It evolved from there into sci-fi settings and other worlds. I asked her to have a 3D scan done - which was done at Another World Studios - so I could incorporate her likeness too. From start to finish everything is modeled and animated in Houdini with rendering done in Redshift and some post in After Effects and DaVinci Resolve. Big should out to Entagma for their inspiring tutorials which led to some of the "growth" shots in the later part of the song.
