Bureau of Meteorology Atmospheric High-resolution Regional Reanalysis for Australia (BARRA)

This cloud visualisation is based on the Bureau of Meteorology Atmospheric high-resolution Regional Reanalysis for Australia (BARRA). BARRA provides a consistent method of analysing decades of past weather using the latest version of Australia's weather forecast model.

NCI Australia has worked with the Bureau of Meteorology for twenty years to improve and optimise the national weather forecast modelling systems, helping them to run on the largest supercomputers in the country.
