Inspired by JK Brickworks swimming Lego shark design, this Lego automaton was created in Houdini 19 using procedural animation methods. By utilizing VEX programming and acos functions, the wheels and gears of the automaton drive the rest of the animation. The pieces needed to create the shark were modeled individually and then assembled similarly to real-world Legos.
