This is a personal project I have been working on recently, inspired by studio Ghibli. I created the plant growth FX with Houdini and all rendered with Karma XPU. The plant models are from Mega scans, and the character from Maximo.

Thanks to everyone who has have me feedback and guidance with this project. Especially Joshua Rizzo who has been mentoring me as part of the Axis Studios mentorship program!

Hey folks I'm Jonathan, I'm an FX Artist in Glasgow Scotland :D I love all things Houdini. I'm Currently in my final year of university studying 3D animation and visulaization.
