Stoked to show my second project at Campus VFX - Montréal.

In this project we are tasked to show Rigid-Body Dynamics (RBD), so I recreated a shot from the movie 'Godzilla x Kong' that required a lot of elements to be put together. Apart from the two character models, I handled all aspects of this shot from Modelling, Animation, FX to Compositing.

What I'm showing here is the evolution of 1 month of RBD, and 2 months of look dev narrowed down into 1 video. I implemented multiple RBD systems, whilst also venturing into several non-RBD setups, all controlled to look as close to the reference as feasable. Similar to my previous project, this required just as much VEX implementation and interest in learning new tools.

Thanks to Jonathan Franklin and Nathan Bayne for their badass guidance, and special thanks to Matthieu Romani for giving me the idea to use light groups and simplify my time spent in rendering.
