Is there a quick "Promote Parameter" equivalent for SOP/DOP nets, like there is for VOPs? Oct. 30, 2024, 3:59 a.m.
gotcheeand you can trying drag the node, you will find all the parameters being linked
The only slightly more convienient way I can think of is when you have the “edit parameter interface”-window open, you can drag an drop your target parameters directly in the middle column and then it’s directly linked, named and of the right type.
Hope this helps...but I would also like it to be even more convienient :-)
Cheers
Can pop fluid exhibit high viscosity like honey ? April 5, 2024, 9:01 a.m.
Hi guys, I was wondering if POP fluid can exhibit very high viscosity? I want to make a small honey ball (0.3*0.3) with POP (I know FLIP would be better, but I was just wondering if the POP solver can do so). So, I've set the constraint iterations in the POP fluid node to 100 and constraint stiffness to 500, and the particle separation is 0.01. but when viscosity is set to 3 or larger, the particles exploded. So, can POP fluid exhibit high viscosity? BTW, which parameters are used to set surface tension? Thanks for any replies.
Maybe a small bug of Gas Particle Separate Node? Dec. 3, 2023, 9:26 a.m.
Hi there, I was testing Gas Particle Separate Node. In my scene there was only two overlapping points with a same pscale attribute which was 0.06. And what maybe strange was that, if the two points was placed at (0,0,0) everything was right, and we can see the two was separated by Gas Particle Separate Node to 0.12 unit and then didn't move, but when I placed them at (-1,-1,-1) at start, they two would keep shaking! I think this is not supposed to happen because there was nothing others in the scene so (-1,-1,-1) and (0,0,0) should be nothing different. But in fact, they don’t. So I think this may be a bug of Gas Particle Separate Node.Otherwise there must be something I don’t know about this node. So can someone please help me out? Thanks!
