I don't know why the houdini engine V-2 can't work in UE5. Could any guys can help me?

I'm also having trouble installing the Houdini Engine plugin in UE5. Did you manage to get it working?

I was able to figure out a work around while using the Houdin Engine debugger

Strange it doesn't look like that's in Houdini 18. There's the Houdini Engine SessionSync which I'm testing out. It seems when it's not started, Unreal isn't finding a valid Indie license.
But either way, I'm still having the issue of the Houdini logo appearing instead of any HDA. I actually got it to randomly work once, but I cannot replicate it.

I'm having a similar issue to you. I can drag and drop HDAs into Unreal, but the Houdini logo is the only thing that appears. I've tried changing the session type with no success, reinstalling Unreal Engine - nothing works. I'm at a loss here. I have a valid Indie license purchased, and the License Administrator tells shows that the Engine license is being used when an Unreal scene is open.
Unreal also seems to load all the nodes from my HDA's, but after all that it just displays the Houdini logo.

Were you able to fix this problem?
