I find myself fortunate to have taken on challenging and invigorating projects over the past 10 years. I have worked in all aspects of production. Often straddling the line between Generalist and TD.
My artistic skills and sensibilities make me a strong creator, allowing me to seamlessly move between disciplines. I am thrilled by the opportunity to create immersive worlds that capture the imagination.
My technical proficiency and deep understanding of data flow within a department or program enable me to innovate and overcome obstacles. I do not believe in the impossible, and I find the challenge of a new look to be as rewarding as building workflows that shape the way we create. less

Sampling Sequential Render Layers July 20, 2024, 12:20 p.m.
Hello Everyone!
I would appreciate some guidance. I may be an idiot and overthinking this.
I have a render broken into two layers, background and foreground. I'd like to render the background first, then sample that data and use it to modify the foreground render.
This can all be done by hand. But I wanted to know if it is possible to have the operation done in a single click. So when I hit render, Houdini outputs the background, samples it for the foreground, and then has it composited so I can see the result.
I just need to be pointed in the correct direction. Is this what TOPS is for, can it be done in the render engine (Arnold), or is there some other way?
Thanks for the help!
