KarmaXPU mix node May 14, 2024, 11:14 a.m.
Hey! I'm working on a big project that is based on KarmaXPU only. Now I'm trying to create some materials with MaterialX and I just found out that it's not yet possible to mix multiple materials with XPU only with CPU(too slow) there is any way to override this? maybe other nodes that can do the same thing like the mtlxmix node? I really need it to work on XPU and my project based on that.
the mix node works fine with the displacement but not with multiple materials. With XPU my render is gray and with CPU it's working well.
Help me solve that, please!!!!!
btw the error log that I'm getting is: KarmaXPU: ShaderGraph _sg_s_83357B69884D8B4A has rootnode-type not handled by XPU, skipped

Is that a Karma XPU limitation at the moment then?
Yes, it currently allows only the mixing of two MtlxStandardSurface nodes.

Hey! I'm starting to render a big project in KarmaXPU and during the render, I don't know why but some frames just don't want to be rendered... there is any way to render the missing frame not one by one? maybe like redshift skipping rendered frame or something?
